Mainframe Production Support Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Production Support Technical Specialist to join our team at NTT Data Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mainframe systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Management: Manage day-to-day issues, including daily health checks of applications and processes, working closely with end users, development staff, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and/or mitigate outages.
  • Problem Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of production problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to resolve application malfunctions and prevent recurrence.
  • Change Management: Ensure all incidents, changes, and progress are efficiently and effectively managed to meet application service levels.
  • Process Improvement: Help identify, coordinate, and implement initiatives/projects that promote efficiency and optimization of daily processes.
  • System Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and/or availability.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess at least 8 years of Mainframe experience, with a minimum of 5 years of solid CARDLINK (Credit and Debit Card System) hands-on experience, and expert knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, MQ Series, Ezytrieve, and Mainframe tools such as Endevor, File-Aid, and Control-M.
  • Additional Requirements: Prior application or production support experience is a plus.
