Piling and Foundation Business Development Leader

Key to our success is a senior leader who can drive business development through the entire tender process, identifying, evaluating, and securing new project opportunities in piling and foundation works.
This role combines pre-contract expertise with strategic client engagement, pinpointing opportunities and crafting bids that enhance our market position.
- Develop a tender strategy to identify, evaluate, and secure new project opportunities.
- Nurture and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and technical authority during pre-bid discussions, clarifications, and site visits.
- Lead the creation of technically robust and commercially competitive bids, ensuring alignment with our company growth strategy.
- Collaborate with estimators, quantity surveyors, design engineers, and project teams to develop compelling tender packages.
- Maintain and improve a library of project references, method statements, health and safety documents, and submission templates to support repeatable success.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related construction discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in tendering for piling/foundation works, with a proven track record of winning high-value projects.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, client engagement, and pre-contract strategy.
