**Job Title: Art Studio Assistant**

Art Studio Opportunity

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our studio as a studio assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic art space and help clients create their own masterpieces.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing an excellent customer experience by guiding clients through various art activities, assisting with rug-making processes, and maintaining a well-organized studio environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and teach clients the basics of tufting and other art-related activities.
  • Provide hands-on assistance and troubleshooting during workshops.
  • Ensure clients have a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Set up and clean up workstations before and after sessions.
  • Maintain studio equipment, tools, and materials in good condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure cleanliness within the workspace.
  • Assist in applying backing, trimming, and finishing rugs.
  • Ensure quality control for completed projects before handing them over to customers.
  • Greet and assist customers with bookings, inquiries, and purchases.
  • Promote additional services, workshops, and merchandise.
  • Handle cash and digital payments efficiently.
  • Support marketing efforts by capturing content for social media.
  • Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing materials.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Passion for arts, crafts, or DIY projects.
  • Friendly, patient, and able to communicate effectively with clients of all skill levels.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as handling tufting tools and processing rugs.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in tufting, arts, customer service, or teaching is a plus (training will be provided).
  • Must be willing to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
