Plant Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Job Description:
- Prepare and monitor efficient schedules for all plant operations, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Assist in organizing maintenance plans for equipment and tools, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement new products and recommend improvements to existing products, work sequences, or processes.
- Design preventive maintenance programs in coordination with plant managers.
- Analyze and coordinate equipment and tool requirements, assisting in requisition from operations departments.
- Review and recommend improvements to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist in implementing changes.
- Monitor machines and inventory lists, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing yard reports, including work progress and cost savings.
- Plan and coordinate activities related to fabrication, modification of equipment, and tools.
- Inspect new machines and equipment to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Inspect the quality of repairs or fabrications prior to delivery.
- Provide administrative support to mechanics on repairing and servicing machines.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery.
- Experience working with multiple products is an advantage.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment diagnostics and mechanical/hydraulic systems.
- Able to diagnose mechanical problems and advise repairs independently.
