Exterior Painting Specialist

Job Description:

  • Maintain exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding, power washing or chemical cleaning.
  • Apply finishes such as primer, paint, waterproofing using brushes, rollers or spray guns.
  • Perform patching or minor surface repairs before painting.
  • Mix and match paint colors to achieve consistency and desired finish.
  • Safely set up scaffolding, ladders or swing stages to reach high areas.
  • Protect non-paintable surfaces with masking tape, coverings or drop cloths.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity and correct flaws as needed.
  • Work in compliance with site safety standards and PPE requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in exterior or industrial painting.
  • Familiar with different types of outdoor paints, waterproofing materials and weather-resistant coatings.
  • Physically fit, comfortable working at heights or on scaffolding.
  • Good knowledge of painting tools and techniques.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet finishing quality standards.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
  • Able to work under the sun.
  • Will be required to work long hours.
