Exterior Surface Finishing Specialist

As an Exterior Surface Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all exterior surfaces of buildings are properly prepared and finished to meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
  • Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures before painting.
  • Mix and match paints for the correct color and finish.
  • Repair and touch up painted surfaces as needed.
  • Use ladders and scaffolding safely for high areas.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow safety protocols and use protective gear at all times.

Required Skills:

  • Taping skills for smooth finishes.
  • Automotive painting experience.
  • Ability to work with a variety of materials and coatings.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and disposal.
