
Chef - Head of Tandoor Operations

The ideal candidate will oversee a specific area of production in a commercial kitchen, specializing in traditional tandoor cooking techniques. This includes kebabs, tandoori grills, and clay oven breads.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage inventory, enforce food safety protocols, and collaborate with the head chef to allocate resources and train team members.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing new dishes, ensuring quality and consistency; managing kitchen operations to meet demands; maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen; and prioritizing tasks effectively under pressure.
Preferred qualifications include experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, familiarity with traditional Indian cooking methods and ingredients, certification in food safety and handling procedures, and ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if required.
