About the Role:
- This key position involves developing and nurturing long-term partnerships with major clients in the maritime sector.
- The successful candidate will identify client needs and suggest customized service solutions to meet those requirements.
- Responsibilities include overseeing the sales process, from preparing quotes to negotiating terms and closing deals.
- Collaboration with technical teams ensures timely and compliant service delivery onboard.
- The role also involves tracking account performance, customer satisfaction, and contract renewals.
- Business growth is driven by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term agreements.
- All services must be delivered in accordance with SOLAS, IMO, and Flag State regulations.
- The position requires regular client visits, participation in industry events, and post-sales support.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A degree in maritime studies or a related field would be advantageous.
- The ideal candidate should be a good team player with strong multitasking skills.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities are essential.
- A positive work attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
