About the Role:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading a team in preparing, negotiating and submitting quotations and tenders. This includes ongoing engagement with clients to promote the company's products or services, reviewing tender and quotation requirements and ensuring submissions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as resourcefulness and strategic thinking to achieve desired outcomes set by management.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee a team in the preparation, negotiation and submission of quotations and tenders.
- Engage with clients to promote the company's products or services.
- Review tender and quotation requirements.
- Ensure submissions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on construction and contract law changes.
- Coordinate with project teams and relevant support functions.
- Prepare periodic reports for Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the Construction industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Resourcefulness and strategic thinking.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
