This role involves developing and optimizing Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) diamond growth using Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition (MPCVD). You will also be responsible for advancing CVD diamond lapping, polishing, and laser cutting processes while evaluating the thermal, structural, and optical properties of the grown films.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize CVD diamond growth using MPCVD system.
  • Evaluate the thermal, structural, and optical properties of the grown films.
  • Support, maintain, and troubleshoot MPCVD systems and their supporting facilities.
  • Write technical reports to funding agencies.

Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in CVD diamond growth is preferred.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
