Senior Organisational Knowledge Strategist

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the IT department's knowledge management strategy, focusing on capturing, organising and disseminating organisational knowledge. This position involves developing and implementing effective strategies to drive knowledge sharing across the organisation, leveraging technology to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a comprehensive knowledge management strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  2. Oversee knowledge content creation, categorisation and maintenance, ensuring accuracy, relevance and accessibility.
  3. Integrate knowledge management processes with other IT service management functions to deliver high-quality services.
  4. Cultivate a culture of knowledge sharing across the organisation, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
  5. Monitor progress by using analytics to assess the impact, engagement, functionality and effectiveness of the knowledge management strategy.
Requirements:Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in implementing knowledge management strategies.
  • Proven expertise in building knowledge management programs within the technology industry or large global organisations.
  • Strong ability to communicate with senior leadership and influence key discussions.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to achieve impactful results.
  • Deep understanding of IT service management and ITIL framework principles.
  • Experience working in a ServiceNow environment is highly desirable.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Library Science or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in knowledge management or ITIL are advantageous but not essential.
