Job Overview
We are seeking a practical and hands-on Knowledge Manager to develop and implement knowledge management strategies that facilitate the gathering, organization, and sharing of knowledge within our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong operational experience in information management and the ability to build effective knowledge sharing systems and practices.
Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in knowledge management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence)
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and taxonomy
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of database management

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge management certification
  • Experience with change management
  • Project management experience
  • ServiceNow Knowledge Base Management
  • ITSM processes and practices
  • Experience in working in Public Sector

Key Responsibilities
Information Management & Systems

  • Design and implement practical knowledge management processes and workflows
  • Develop and maintain knowledge repositories and information architecture
  • Implement and manage content management systems
  • Ensure proper documentation and version control
  • Establish metadata standards and taxonomies

Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration

  • Work with departments to identify and capture critical organizational knowledge
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing through practical initiatives
  • Facilitate cross-departmental knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate communities of practice
  • Develop knowledge
