We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Employment Agent. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who can provide exceptional service and support to employers and domestic helpers.

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to understand and meet the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships with both employers and helpers, and provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process.

The successful candidate will have excellent sales and marketing skills, and be able to effectively promote the company's services to potential clients. They will also be proficient in the use of technology, including software platforms used to prepare and sign documents required to formalise the hiring process.

Additionally, this role requires the ability to mediate and resolve conflicts that may arise during employment. The candidate will need to demonstrate empathy and understanding in these situations, and work to find solutions that meet the needs of all parties involved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing potential employer and domestic helper leads
  • Understanding personal profiles, skillsets, experience, salary expectations and aspirations of domestic helpers
  • Discussing employer requirements with helpers
  • Matching domestic helpers with employers and negotiating employment terms
  • Preparing necessary documents and undertaking formalities according to national regulations and requirements
  • Ensuring employment contracts meet legal requirements and are signed
  • Coordinating training programs
  • Providing after-sales follow-up and service

Competencies required:

  • Relationship-building skills: Establish positive connections with candidates and employers
  • Marketing and social media skills: Promote company services to potential clients
  • Sales skills: Pitch job opportunities to candidates and employers
  • Use of technology: Utilize software platforms to digitally prepare and sign documents
  • Mediation and counselling skills: Resolve conflicts between workers and employers
  • Knowledge of Ministry of Manpower Employment Regulatory Frameworks: Adhere to rules and regulations laid down by the Ministry of Manpower and the Association of Employment Agency of Singapore
