Key Responsibilities & duties
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure production lines run efficiently with minimal downtime.
  • Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment, machinery, and utilities.
  • Coordinate and respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring quick resolution to avoid disruptions in production.
  • Supervise maintenance activities for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other plant utilities.

1. Maintenance Operations Management:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the production lines. This involves ensuring that the lines are running efficiently with minimal downtime.


2. Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team to enhance skills and performance.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with workplace safety protocols.

3. Budget Management:

The maintenance manager develops and manages the department’s budget, including tracking costs and ensuring spending aligns with financial goals.


4. Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvement to enhance plant efficiency and reduce costs


5. Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (e.g., WHS, Building, Pressure vessel inspection and all MOM regulations).


6. Collaboration:

Work closely with production, quality, and warehouse teams to address maintenance-related issues proactively.


7. Safety:

Responsible for the company’s safety management and ensuring the company complies with relevant safety requirements in Singapore.
