Plant Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with plant equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine checks and testing of plant equipment, monitoring plant parameters, and making adjustments or troubleshooting via DCS or on-site as needed.
In addition, the Plant Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing boiler water condition and level, optimizing refuse incineration throughput based on operating conditions, and ensuring chemicals and consumables optimization.
The role also involves recording and documenting changes in work procedures accurately and precisely according to plant ISO standards and quality management procedures.
Other responsibilities include updating plant status, handling and resolving technical issues related to operations of boilers, turbo-generators, Flue gas treatment, and its auxiliaries, and ensuring smooth and efficient operation of turbo-generators and associated common equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A minimum of Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Working knowledge of the principles and mechanics of plant equipment and DCS functions is essential.
- A Class 2 Boiler Attendant Certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong safety mindset and can-do attitude.
This is a contract position for 2 years, and the successful candidate will be expected to commit to 12-hour shift work and provide support on off/rest days when required.
