Business Development SpecialistAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining features, writing clear user stories, and driving delivery from idea to launch.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritise product/feature requirements
  • Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, and technical documentation
  • Support the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and iteration
  • Manage and groom the product backlog alongside Product Managers
  • Participate in Agile rituals: sprint planning, standups, retros
  • Align internal teams on what needs to be built, tested, and shipped
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Product Owner in a fintech environment
  • Proficiency in Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, and basic Figma workflows
  • Able to write user stories and acceptance criteria that devs understand
  • Understanding of fintech product flows - e.g. wallets, payment journeys, order placement
  • Experience with APIs (testing in Postman, mapping request/response) is an advantage
  • Bonus: exposure to trading products (e.g. FX, equities, crypto)
