This role is a strategic position within the Office of Human Resources at National University of Singapore. The Director of Employee Relations will be responsible for managing and developing employee relations policies, processes, and practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resource management, with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role. A bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field is required.

  • Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  2. Manage employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions, working closely with HR Partners, managers, and supervisors.
  3. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee relations, providing recommendations to senior management.
  4. Liaise with external agencies, such as government departments and unions, to negotiate agreements and resolve disputes.
  5. Provide training and guidance to HR staff on employee relations best practices.
