Minimum qualifications:

- 15 years of experience in Human Resources
- 10 years of experience in Employee Relations/Labor Relations or Employment Law
- Experience with people management

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in change management, with an understanding of how to communicate large, complex change
- Knowledge and understanding of the Asia-Pacific region, including labor activity/market and local employment law
- Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders in a high performing, fast-paced, global environment in high tech or enterprise organizations
- Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis, and to navigate complex business models
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Consistently exhibits high levels of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality

**Responsibilities**:

- Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, design, and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, and ensure that Google is compliant and updated on all local employment laws.
- Provide thought partnership in the development of global Employee Relations and Googler Experience objectives and strategy, and drive localization of strategy for APAC that accounts for local legislation, culture, and nuances.
- Lead Asia-Pacific Employee Relations organization; plan and allocate resources and workload in-region.
- Represent Employee Relations in Regional People Operations leadership forums.
- Manage executive-level investigations, appeals, and escalations in-region as need.
