Senior HR Business Partner (Employee Relations Focus) – Singapore
We are representing our client, a technology start-up with presence across the region that has operations spanning multiple markets and a workforce supporting both corporate and operational teams, the organisation continues to evolve rapidly, shaping the way people live, work, and connect.
As part of its continued investment in people and culture, there is now a critical need to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to join the Singapore HR team. This role will be pivotal in supporting leaders and employees locally, with a strong emphasis on employee relations and driving strategic HR initiatives aligned with business priorities.
Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor in aligning people strategies to business goals, reporting to the Singapore Head of HR and working closely with business leaders.
Combine strategic HR partnering with a deep focus on employee relations; navigate complex cases with sound judgment and discretion.
Take ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, providing coaching to managers and guiding sensitive workplace matters.
Ensure policies and practices are compliant with Singapore legislation.
Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, talent development and organisational development.
Support initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and build a high-performance culture.
Provide insights and analytics to inform decisions on attrition, headcount and workforce trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Legal, Compliance and Finance to ensure HR practices align with governance standards.
Operate in a high-visibility, fast-paced, high-growth environment with adaptability and resilience.
Qualifications
Experienced HR professional with a proven track record in an HRBP or generalist role with extensive expertise in employee relations.
Strong understanding of Singapore employment legislation and best practices; ability to manage sensitive and complex cases independently.
Strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management, and ability to build trust and influence across multiple levels of the organisation.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth setting with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Motivated by shaping people strategy in a leading regional platform and balancing strategic impact with hands-on delivery.
