Job Title: Customer Service Director

  • Clients expect timely responses to their queries, and you will be the face of our company in handling customer inquiries and forwarding relevant information to planners for cargo details.
  • You will maintain open lines of communication with sales teams and follow up on cargo status to ensure our customers are always informed.
  • Create jobs in Cargoware for cargo requirements and request planners to proceed with bookings, ensuring seamless logistics processes.
  • Deliver booking confirmations to clients once received from planners, providing a high level of service that meets their expectations.
  • Manage HAWB processes and activate service providers for export permits, facilitating smooth clearance procedures.
  • Monitor shipment statuses, including uplifts, arrivals, and irregularities, and proactively address any issues that may arise.
  • Process inbound pre-alerts from customers and liaise with OPS teams for terminal clearances, streamlining operations.
  • Ensure timely receipt of payments from clients, maintaining a positive cash flow for our business.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma with 3-5 years of customer service experience, preferably in air freight or logistics.
  • Proven negotiation skills, ability to find new customers, and excellent relationship-building abilities.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and logistics management software, with a bonus for advanced skills.
