Job Title: SME Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled business development professional to strengthen our SME loan portfolio through strategic partnerships and client-centric financing solutions.

About the Role:
  • This role requires cultivating strong relationships with intermediaries, such as brokers and business advisors, to drive consistent loan referrals.
  • The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to SME clients, evaluating their financial health and offering viable loan options.
  • You will be responsible for facilitating the end-to-end loan process, including documentation, initial assessments, and coordination with credit teams.
  • Maintaining oversight of active loan accounts is crucial, ensuring timely payments and early detection of potential risks.
  • Collaboration with Collections and Risk teams is necessary to manage overdue accounts and mitigate exposure.

Main Responsibilities:

Cultivate relationships with intermediaries

Act as a trusted advisor to SME clients

Facilitate the end-to-end loan process

Maintain oversight of active loan accounts

Collaborate with Collections and Risk teams

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in SME lending or business relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen understanding of the SME financing landscape.
  • Ability to maintain oversight of active loan accounts and ensure timely payments.
