Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Senior Distribution Specialist at People Profilers Pte Ltd. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. Your primary focus will be on maintaining/implementing Driver & Vehicle Safety Framework (DEL) for sites & gas & gear within your area of responsibility.

You will conduct validations of these activities to check compliance and ensure customer site & routes are properly assessed prior to any delivery. You will also be responsible for ensuring On Board Computer (OBC) violations are monitored and addressed. This includes coordinating and following up with consequence management applied to those violators and securing proof. Additionally, you will provide solutions and agreed actions including follow up to ensure those risks have been eliminated or reduced as agreed.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining/implementing Driver & Vehicle Safety Framework (DEL)
  • Conduct validations of safety activities to check compliance
  • Ensure customer site & routes are properly assessed prior to any delivery
  • Monitor and address OBC violations

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Develop a daily bulk delivery schedule
  • Maximize time and capacity utilization of vehicles
  • Reduce product return or backloads to site by continuously improving the scheduling process
  • Manage situations of product shortage, plant shutdown, vehicle shortage, and any other situations that can negatively affect scheduling efficiency

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports
  • Monitor deliveries via OBC and raise any potential issues immediately to immediate superior
  • Coordinate with Sales if there is unavailable product or possible delivery failure

Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma in Supply Chain with clear understanding of the logistics environment in the country
  • Proficiency in using MS Office skills, SAP (MM) module, etc.
  • Ability to take quick decisions based on circumstances and data support systems
  • Good understanding of internal and external interfaces
