Global Partnership Team

The Global Partnership team at PayerMax is responsible for providing payment channel solutions, including acquiring channel/bank partners, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, reconciliation, and more. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and secure payment experience for our merchants and customers.

Job Responsibilities

This role is critical in developing and managing strategic global and regional channel/bank partnerships to achieve best-in-class payment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the payments industry, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven track record of driving results through strategic collaborations.

  • Build and Maintain Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key global and regional partners, ensuring continuous alignment and collaboration.
  • Identify and Evaluate Partners: Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners to enhance global payment capabilities.
  • Develop Partnership Strategies: Develop and execute partnership strategies that align with the company's objectives and growth plans.
  • Negotiate Partnership Agreements: Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Monitor Payment Performance: Monitor and analyze payment performance metrics to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Product, Legal, Finance, Compliance) to integrate channel/bank partner solutions and enhance payment processes.
  • Acquire Fintech Partners: Acquire key partners in the fintech space to leverage the network and capabilities from each other.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape in the global payments space.
  • Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats to the business.
  • Provide Insights and Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analysis and partner feedback.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Partnership Management Experience: 3-5 years of experience in partnership management and development, or strategic roles within the international payments industry.
  • Payment Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of internal/external operation of cross-border payment business, particularly in emerging markets.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Language Skills: Very fluent in both English and Chinese (presenting, reading, and writing) to work with Mandarin-speaking clients from the Greater China Region.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Global Payment Systems: Knowledge of global payment systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
