Job Overview:

Production Operations Specialist

This role is part of the Production team responsible for ensuring safe and efficient LNG terminal operations, including loading and unloading of LNG from vessels and re-gasification process for natural gas pipeline network supply.

The incumbent will perform fieldwork and operate the Distributed Control System (DCS) to monitor and control the terminal process within design parameters and meet customers' gas nomination requests.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine field inspections to ensure equipment operating conditions are within safe limits
  • Performing unloading of chemicals/utilities into receiving tanks
  • Operating marine loading arms and undertaking Loading Master roles during jetty operations
  • Maintaining comprehensive unit logs with proper data of all activities occurring in the shift and ensuring proper changeover of shifts

Additional responsibilities may include supporting other production activities and services such as vessel cool down and cold energy support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the incumbent should possess excellent operational knowledge and experience in LNG terminal operations. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaboration with marine, technical, and maintenance teams.
