Job Title: LNG Terminal Operations Specialist

Job Description

This position is a key part of the Production team responsible for performing operations related to the loading and unloading of LNG from vessels, as well as the re-gasification process for supplying natural gas to the pipeline network.

The incumbent will be required to perform fieldwork and operate control systems to ensure safe operating limits are maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine inspections on equipment to ensure safe operating conditions;
  • Unloading chemicals/utilities into receiving tanks;
  • Conducting jetty operations such as vessel berthing, operating marine loading arms, and undertaking Loading Master duties;
  • Operating control systems to monitor and control terminal processes within design parameters and meet customer requests;
  • Maintaining comprehensive unit logs with proper data of all activities occurring in the shift and ensuring proper changeover of shifts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the incumbent will require strong technical knowledge and skills, including experience with control systems, inspection techniques, and operational procedures. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders is also essential.
