Desktop Technician III Job Description

The Desktop Technician III role involves providing end-user support for computer applications and hardware. This includes on-site and remote users, with a focus on desktop and IT support.

The successful candidate will be expected to report to our state-of-the-art office in Singapore. They will work with various teams to route tickets accordingly or provide feedback on challenges and successes within the environment.

  • Provide professional end-user support for users of computer applications and hardware (e.g. PCs, network, OS).
  • Log incident/trouble calls and emails into our Service Now ticketing system.
  • Route support issues to senior level support technicians as needed.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you should have:

  • A college diploma in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
  • 5+ years in desktop/service desk support role.
  • Professional experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 11 O/S, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, BitLocker, various Antivirus solutions, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having the following qualifications would make you stand out:

  • Experience with corporate networking and security.
  • Experience using SCCM, Intune, Autopilot.
  • Experience with MacOS & Jamf.

Additionally, knowledge of various telephony technologies (Avaya, Teams, Zoom) and meeting room technology & support would be beneficial.
