Senior Compliance Risk Manager

The Compliance Risk Officer role serves as a senior function/business/product compliance risk expert for independent risk management. The individual in this position is responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation.
In this role, you will be expected to monitor compliance risk behaviors, provide day-to-day guidance on operations, financial requirements, and regulatory rules/laws interpretation on internal policies and procedures.
This is a critical leadership position requiring expertise in Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies. The successful candidate must possess excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills, as well as strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices for independent risk management.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on Compliance programs and providing expert guidance on function/business/product regulations on a real-time basis to manage compliance risk.
- Staying abreast of relevant changes to rules/regulations and other industry news including regulatory findings.
- Overseeing the monitoring and identification of regulatory developments, including enforcement actions, and new laws, regulations, rules, and interpretations or guidance relating to the supported function/business/product.
