Hotel Reservation Specialist Role
This pivotal position is a crucial component within the hospitality sector. The individual in this capacity will be responsible for managing room sales via telephone or correspondence, ensuring that all information provided to guests is accurate and pertinent.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Guest Correspondence: Respond to all guest correspondence within 24 hours of receipt.
- Telephone Calls: Answer incoming calls promptly and accurately within 3 rings.
- Package Suggestion: Recommend suitable packages to guests based on their preferences and requirements.
- Follow-up Activities: Conduct follow-up activities with guests to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Upselling Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities to increase revenue.
- Booking Management: Ensure timely entry of bookings into the Property Management System (PMS).
- Daily Reports: Produce daily reports on key performance indicators.
Key Requirements include:
- Industry Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a related department.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using computer applications and software.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Communication Skills: Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
