Advanced Proposal Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Proposal Manager to join our team. As a key member of our bid management team, you will be responsible for developing proposals for major projects.
Develop comprehensive proposals as the technical lead for customer/client base, reviewing client requests for quotation (RFQ) and selecting equipment using company engineering tools to create optimized solutions.
Prepare outside purchase equipment RFQs and collaborate with regional/global supply chain managers to secure compliant offers.
Lead cost integration and analysis, considering technical and commercial risks to determine final pricing.
Assist sales managers in developing strategic plans for successful order capture processes and contribute to value proposition development.
Follow the RFQ-to-order process, ensuring timely completion and smooth handovers to operations.
Identify opportunities for cost savings within the proposal development process or through non-conformance instances and implement process improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
Experience in rotating equipment design, application engineering, or front-end/detail engineering.
Knowledge of combined cycle design for modules or power plants is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Domestic and international travel required for project presentations, training, and meetings.
