Job Title: Bar Operations Lead

About the Role

As a seasoned professional, you will oversee the smooth operation of our bars, ensuring high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer service.

  • Take charge of maintaining accurate inventory levels, controlling expenses, and minimizing waste.
  • Develop effective strategies to optimize stock levels, manage staff schedules, and oversee daily operations.
  • Liaise with the F&B Operations Manager and Outlet Heads on operational matters.
  • Communicate clearly with bar staff, setting objectives and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads to resolve defects and other issues.
  • Prepare weekly duty rosters and submit staff claims.
  • Monitor revenue from beverage and tobacco sales, and devise plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Evaluate staff performance, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Conduct annual staff performance appraisals, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Address customer complaints, bringing them to the attention of the F&B Operations Manager.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the POS system and accurate billing of Members' Chits.
  • Provide leadership and training to staff.
  • Support Banquet and Events, and other F&B Outlets as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong leadership and coaching skills are essential for this role. You must also possess:

  • The ability to maintain accurate inventory levels and control expenses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and hospitality industry practices.
