Project Director - Ship Repair and Conversion

As a Project Director, you will be responsible for the overall direction and coordination of ship repair and conversion projects. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Direct Projects: Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Safety Management: Lead daily VSCC meetings to ensure safety protocols are followed, preventing accidents and minimizing risks.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conflict Resolution: Effectively manage conflicts, coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs to meet master schedules.
  • Collaboration and Liaison: Closely work with classification societies, ship owners, owner specialists, vessel crew, and ship agents to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5-7 years' experience in a similar capacity from marine/heavy industries.
  • Certification: Possess SRM Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Benefits:
