Senior Mechanical Product Specialist
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components. This includes creating concepts for mechatronic sub-assemblies, assemblies, and product-related parts. The candidate should have a strong understanding of feasibility studies, product cost estimation, and risk assessment.
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components
- Create 3D modules and BOMs including 2D drawings following company standards
- Initiate engineering change requests and implement design changes
- Project coordination and time management for responsible topics
The candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automation/equipment industries or equivalent
- Significant practical experience in mechanical design, construction, and testing with a solid understanding of functional relationships between individual components and electromechanical systems
- Good knowledge of mechanical parts evaluation and qualification
- Knowledge of structural dynamics/modal analysis is a plus
This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with other disciplines, and develop technical skills.
OthersThe ideal candidate should be able to write and present technical reports to internal and end customers, support technical inquiries from operations and Technical Support, and work closely with other disciplines to meet project objectives.
