Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Marine Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of marine generators.

Responsibilities:
  • Standby support and emergency call-out for customer support.
  • Provide after-sales technical support, site recovery, and maintenance responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
  • Generate service reports in a systematic manner.
  • Investigate and handle all customer complaints related to product failures.
  • Determine root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
  • Review and assist in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors.
  • Maintain close working relationships with key customers to ensure issue resolution.
  • Develop service training materials and ensure all technical and training documents are up-to-date and organized.
  • Provide specific training to distributors and dealers on service and troubleshooting skillsets, ensuring optimum service levels.

Requirements:
  • Diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • This role requires fair amounts of travel within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region.
  • Candidates with equivalent professional backgrounds will be considered.
  • Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization systems is advantageous.
