Funeral Process Assistant


As a Funeral Process Assistant, you will be responsible for the collection and transportation of deceased individuals. Your duties will also include preparing coffins and encoffining, as well as loading and unloading heavy items.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading heavy items/coffins
  • Preparing coffins and encoffining
  • Performing various tasks during the funeral process, such as guiding the bereaved family and assisting with funeral rites
  • Driving a funeral hearse
  • Maintaining the tidiness of company vehicles and premises


This role requires strong physical abilities, including the ability to lift heavy weights (up to 25kg) and perform other physically demanding tasks. You must also possess a Class 3/3A driving license and be computer literate.


We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate compassion when dealing with bereaved families and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team.
