Job Description

The Senior Regional Marketing Manager will work closely with the Asia partners and attorney team to support marketing and business development activities in the APAC region.

The primary goal is to build Cooley brand and profile in target markets, identify new business opportunities, and successfully capture them.

This position is responsible for responding to marketing and business development requests in a manner consistent with the firm's overall strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a marketing plan in conjunction with senior marketing professionals and attorneys in Asia offices
  • Supporting business development initiatives for attorneys focused on opportunities in Asia
  • Researching and compiling competitive intelligence and reports on potential clients
  • Managing pitch and proposal pipeline information and establishing accurate reporting systems for tracking and return on marketing initiatives
  • Working with Director of Marketing & Business Development, Asia to assess, analyze, target, and initiate efforts to cultivate new clients and expand cross-selling opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications

Required skills and qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications, as well as experience with CRM programs and social media management.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree, significant prior experience in marketing organizations, depth of understanding of the Asia region, and fluency in spoken Mandarin and written Chinese.
