Branch Pastor

Role Summary

The Branch Pastor is a pivotal role that supports the Senior Pastor in fulfilling the church's vision. The ideal candidate will have excellent teaching and preaching skills, with a passion for ministry and a strong emotional quotient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and delivery of sermons on Sunday services.
  • Overseeing daily administration and operation of the church office.
  • Ensuring smooth operation of Sundays, seminars, and meetings.
  • Strengthening and advocating for the cell church.
  • Actively participating in outreach programs as the core emphasis of the church.
  • Developing and teaching discipleship classes.
  • Conducting baptism, membership, and new believers' classes.
  • Providing pastoral care and counseling services to church members.
Requirements
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree from a seminary.
  • With seminary training and experience in sermon delivery.
  • Passionate about the ministry.
  • Missional, strategically minded, and self-starter.
  • Ability to pastor a multi-cultural congregation.
  • Experience in teaching, ministering to international communities, and good understanding of local Singaporean culture.
  • Possess a strong emotional quotient.
  • Team player with a good attitude and comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Walking closely with the Lord, has clear grounding and strong theological stand.
  • Pastoring a church with an English congregation, the candidate must be able to speak fluent English.
  • Have an understanding of how a cell church operates.
  • Two years of experience working in a pastoral role.
  • Responsible, organized, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask various projects at a time.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
