**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- You will be reporting to the Lead/Senior Pastor and serving alongside with the other pastoral team members. The Ministry Director, Cell Groups will be responsible for the Cell Ministry aspects in Calvary Baptist Church (CBC).
- Together with the pastoral team, you will support direction & plan for the Cell Ministry for the continued discipling, the provision of pastoral care as well as for member participation in evangelizing to the unreached; based on the teaching of God’s Word; and in line with church mission and vision.
- You will oversee and coordinate all the details of Cell Group ministry, considering the focus and overall direction set by the pastoral team.
- You will play both a leadership as well as shepherding role to those who serve alongside him/her, including the working group and Cell Group Leaders (CGLs).
- You will serve together with a lay leadership ministry team for the growth of an embracing church community in CBC; of which the Cell Ministry is a key component in determining its success.
- You will develop and implement CG leadership training & equipping, provide for the mentoring, motivation & succession planning CGLs so as to ensure growth towards spiritual maturity as well as a smooth transition in the event of leadership or CG renewal.
- You will work with the Hospitality Ministry to channel and integrate new worshippers into suitable CGs for discipleship, care and shepherding.
- You will attend regular staff and night meetings as needed.
- You will attend to other duties as assigned by the Lead/Senior Pastor and/or Governing Board from time to time, to meet the emerging needs and challenges for the spiritual wellbeing and proper order of the church.
- You will work with pastoral team, assigned Deacons and relevant staff team members to grow the church; through CGs for discipleship and disciple-making and soul care; elevating CBC towards becoming an embracing gospel community.
- You will formulate and implement CGL Training & Equipping Programmes for new CGLs as well as the continued development and mentoring of existing CGLs in CBC.
- Develop effective strategy for Cell Ministry
- Plan and organise events, activities according to the work plan approved for the year
- Recruit & train volunteers.
- Select and purchase appropriate resources and materials within approved budget.
- Manage budget assigned & approve necessary expenses for the effective running of the ministry

**Requirements**:

- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him, evidenced by action, attitude and behavior.
- Basic degree in theology from an approved seminary is highly preferred. Meets biblical qualifications for church leadership.
