Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Services Coordinator to join our team at PERSOLKELLY SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning and coordination, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the MICE or hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales manager to plan and coordinate events, including banquets, weddings, and conferences.
- Ensure proper event setup according to client requirements, including seating arrangements, audio-visual needs, and food and beverage services.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Supervise event staff during events to ensure exceptional service and adherence to company standards.
- Assist in scheduling and managing event staff, including wait staff, captains, and bartenders.
- Provide training and guidance to new employees and ensure that all staff are well-prepared for events.
- Monitor staff performance and address any service issues that arise during events.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the event team to ensure that all event details are executed to the client's satisfaction.
- Address client requests, concerns, and feedback during events to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather client feedback and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure that all events meet high-quality standards, from food presentation to customer service.
- Monitor event spaces for cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Implement corrective measures when necessary to address any issues with service or event execution.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within the MICE or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and staff management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and problem-solve on the spot.
- Knowledge of event setup procedures, food and beverage service, and event coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
