Job Title: EHS Coordinator

Job Description:

Our company seeks a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining a comprehensive EHS program at offshore power plant fabrication sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS procedures, policies, and programs specific to offshore power plant fabrication.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement project-specific EHS plans.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with local EHS laws and client contractual requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant EHS regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, including incident rates, near-miss incidents, and audit findings.
  • Manage permits, inspections, and audit records using digital EHS platforms.
  • Provide EHS training, orientation, and inductions to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Conduct risk assessments for high-risk activities.
  • Investigate incidents/near-misses using RCA methodologies.
  • Collaborate with contractors, clients, and regulators to resolve EHS concerns.
  • Report EHS performance metrics to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years in energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of offshore power plant fabrication processes and associated hazards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in risk management, and project coordination.
  • Familiar with local and international procurement regulations and standards relevant to the marine shipyard industry.
  • Knowledge of contractor safety standards and supply chain risk management.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, OSHA 30, or equivalent.
