Job Title: Vice President, Relationship Management and Business Development

BNY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Treasury Services team as a Vice President, Relationship Management and Business Development. This role is located in Singapore and will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key financial institutions in the South and Southeast Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire, manage, and grow key client relationships.
  • Responsible for relationship coverage and business development by marketing the firm's treasury services to key financial institutions.
  • Manage large and sophisticated clients with complex buying/decision-making processes.
  • Continually evaluate client needs and ensure sustained client engagement to grow revenue while strengthening business relationships.
  • Track and report pipeline and progress against account plans developed for key accounts.
  • Adopt an enterprise-wide relationship management approach by collaborating with internal stakeholders and across lines of businesses to deliver a holistic customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Strong core competency, experience, and knowledge in transaction banking products and services, especially correspondent banking/clearing services, FX payments, trade finance, cash management, and liquidity management solutions.
  • Proven relationship management experience and a well-established network of financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions.
  • Experience in negotiating agreements for inter-bank transactions, such as nostro account agreements, master risk participation agreements, and trade loan agreements.
  • Good working knowledge of using data analysis tools such as Swift.com Banking Analytics and Swift Traffic.
  • Strong experience in KYC/AML risk and control processes for banks.
  • Past experience covering the South Asia region and fluency in local languages will be an advantage.
