Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting Senior Staff: The successful candidate will work closely with senior staff members to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, including audit schedules, budget, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  2. Reconciliation and Controls: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for performing reconciliation for expenses, revaluation, and inter-co transactions, as well as maintaining strong internal controls to prevent errors or discrepancies.
  3. Administrative Tasks: The selected candidate will perform administrative tasks such as data entry and preparing invoices.
  4. Financial Recordkeeping: The Senior Accountant Specialist will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, contributing to the month-end close process.
  5. Audit and Tax Support: This role will provide support for audit, tax, financial planning and analysis, helping develop financial models and track variances to keep us on track.
  6. Tax Submission: The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate quarterly and yearly tax submission for GST and Corporate tax.

Requirements:

  • Strong Organizational Skills: A meticulous attention to detail is required for accurate financial recordkeeping.
  • Accounting Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and a willingness to learn new accounting-specific tools.
  • Web3 Interest: A keen interest in the web3 space and a desire to learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
  • Adaptability: Proactive and adaptable, with a can-do attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diploma/Degree: Diploma / Degree in Accountancy
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in finance/accounting is advantageous.
  • Fresh Graduates: Fresh graduates with prior internships
