The incumbent will provide critical support to the Deputy Dean and College Management in leading the school's overall External Relations stakeholder engagement strategies and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

External Relations Engagement and Partnership Development

1. Promote the College of Business and Nanyang Business School (NBS) through strategic outreach and partnership development.

2. Convene and execute appropriate strategies to advance the College's external relations agenda.

3. Foster partnerships for the College across a wide spectrum of initiatives for teaching and research.

4. Identify new opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and engagements.

5. Formulate action plans and establish relations with industry.

6. Drive integrated and coordinated external relations programmes and activities across units within the College.

7. Support networking at relevant industry/research forums and business meetings.

8. Serve as the primary administrative contact for external engagements and corporate partners.

Event Management and Operations

1. Develop and implement comprehensive event planning for partner events and collaborative initiatives with industry.

2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to effectively plan and execute partner events and engagement activities.

3. Select suitable event venues and negotiate contracts.

4. Collaborate with the NTU Events Office for events.

5. Manage and host visits to the College by external parties, visitors, and guests.

6. Manage the College's external relations budget, including budget planning and accounts management.

7. Develop and manage event budgets.

8. Track expenses, reconcile invoices, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.

9. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies for events.

Support to Leadership and Strategy Development

1. Lead consultation with the College Management to strategise, strengthen, and establish industry partnerships and engagements.

2. Support the formulation of the College's external relations strategies and implementation plans.

3. Support College management in building relationships with local, regional, and international partners.

Requirements

1. Degree from a recognised university.

2. At least 8 years of relevant work experience in events management and partnership engagement.

3. Ability to connect with people at all levels, establish and maintain a network of relationships and partnerships.

4. Proficiency in IT, experienced in managing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events; and engaging online communities.

5. Resourceful and driven, with the ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically.

6. Excellent presentation and communication skills.

7. Ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders.

8. Team player and must be able to work within tight deadlines.

9. Highly service-centric and customer-oriented.
