Job Summary

Tunnel Geologist Role

This role involves geological work within tunnel environments. As a Tunnel Geologist, you will be responsible for conducting daily muck reconciliation and inspections to ensure project progress and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct geological surveys and mapping of the tunnel face prior to interventions.
  • To inspect and record muck conditions on a daily basis, ensuring accurate logging and reporting.
  • To verify ground stability and conditions before cutterhead interventions.

Requirements and Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience
  • 5 years of experience in geology, with a focus on tunnel environments.
  • Knowledge of face mapping and muck reconciliation processes.
  • MEDICAL FITNESS FOR COMPRESSED AIR WORK IS REQUIRED.

We seek candidates with strong geological knowledge and experience working in compressed air environments.

Preferred skills include drilling, construction, geology, investigation, project planning, logging, engineering geology, project coordination, civil engineering, instrumentation, soil analysis, laboratory testing, site investigation, field work, and compressed air operations.
