Job Description

As a Tunnel Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of tunneling projects from start to finish.

This involves preparing detailed method statements, conducting daily site inspections, and supervising work on complex tunnel infrastructure.

You will also be required to maintain accurate records of excavated volumes, grouting operations, and other construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare method statements and conduct risk assessments for tunnel activities
  • Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Supervise site works, including TBM operations and internal structure construction
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and authorities to ensure smooth project execution

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or a related field.

They should have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as experience working with Microsoft Office software.

Additional requirements include:

  • Proficiency in BIM software and assurance protocols
  • Experience with excavation, ground improvement, and environmental control measures
  • Strong knowledge of tunneling and civil engineering principles
