Job Summary

Celine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Projects Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Store Projects Department, you will support the Store Projects Manager in driving project management of the SEAO region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Projects Manager in driving project management of the region by working with HQ architecture team to provide technical project briefing, realistic project schedule, budget templates, and other information necessary for the project.
  • Follow through the project process, ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and meets consistent quality standards of the brand.
  • Coordinate drawings and materials submission to landlords and drive for timely approval, liaise with landlords to resolve all design, technical, and schedule issues, and ensure the brand can achieve the maximum design intent while respecting landlord's requirements and local building codes.
  • Assist design coordination and development.
  • Coordinate with all vendors and local teams for procurements and ensure timely deliveries and installation.
  • Research local options for materials where applicable.
  • Inspect materials quality or millwork fabrication progress in factories, when requested.
  • Establish a network of reliable and trustworthy suppliers.
  • Prepare tender drawings and specifications, analyze tender results, award tender to qualified contractors, and prepare construction contracts, when requested.
  • Liaise with external consultants (project architects, engineers, RSE, QS), when requested.
  • Update cost tracking records through the project process, report punch lists after project completion, gather project closing documentation, as-built drawings, and final accounts.
  • Provide project progress reports and project status updates to the region, when applicable.
  • Responsible for store reinstatement, ad-hoc projects like pop-up/temporary stores/external stockrooms/offices/showrooms.
  • Maintain shop databases, comprehensive libraries of design references, including concept drawings, validated material samples, light fittings, and mock-ups or their photos.
  • Drive and provide contacts for store maintenance.

Requirements

Education:

Degree or above in relevant disciplines (Interior Design, Building Study, Architectural Study, or equivalent).

Experience:

5-7 years of relevant experience in store projects perspectives, ideally in the Retail Fashion industry across the region.

Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of store projects expertise with experience of handling store openings, new market openings as added advantages.
  • Good project management skills with the ability to drive and follow through.
  • Strong ability with drawing tools digitally.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of initiative and urgency.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with good ability to influence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
