Research Expert

The Research Expert role is part of a team conducting research on customized functional adhesives and glue materials for automotive display panels, coating, lamination, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop integration approaches for automotive-grade adhesives and bonding materials in collaboration with industry partners.
  • Screen, select, and synthesize automotive-grade adhesives such as gluing, optical bonding, and adhesive tapes.
  • Drive technology development focusing on chemical processes involved in product manufacturing.
  • Evaluate and optimize mechanical characteristics.
  • Perform chemical characterization and compatibility analysis of materials.
  • Support qualification and failure analysis related to mechanical and chemical aspects.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience or PhD with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge in chemistry, focusing on display materials, plastics, and die casting.
  • Understanding of chemical processes in display manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of adhesive materials and technologies.
