Job Title: North Indian Cuisine Curry Head Chef

RED CHILLI PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled North Indian Cuisine Curry Head Chef to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing food production and kitchen operations, with a strong focus on quality and presentation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Washing and cutting vegetables, meats, seafood, and poultry.
  • Preparing marinades, mise-en-place, and setting up all stock stations.
  • Cooking and preparing North Indian curries, starters, hot plate breads for dine-in guests, takeaways, and catering.
  • Ensuring the prompt and speedy delivery of orders.
  • Setting up and managing buffet stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Informing restaurant managers and captains about the unavailability of certain dishes.
  • Taking stock and liaising with the purchase and catering managers to ensure adequate food items are available.
  • Receiving goods after checking quality and quantity.
  • Storing raw materials and ingredients and ensuring that all food storage and preparation meet temperature guidelines.
  • Checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met.
  • Ensuring personal hygiene and safety requirements.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking utensils, and equipment.
  • Monitoring the performance of assistant chefs.
  • Cooking staff meals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent culinary skills, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure. Fluency in Tamil and Hindi is also required.

Requirements:

This is a full-time and permanent position, and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar industry.

Mandatory Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be required to work on weekends and public holidays and take off on a weekday.
