Job Responsibilities

The MICE Head of Sales will play a pivotal role and be responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving revenue growth and managing a team of MICE professionals. The role requires a deep understand of the MICE industry, exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, plans and tactics to generate new business
• Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to amplify revenue streams to achieve revenue targets
• Proactively soliciting new and existing corporate and MICE accounts to meet and exceed sales goals
• Collaborate with business units to penetrate key markets and align overall sales goals
• Prepare regular sales reports and analysis for senior management
• Build industry relationships, nurture client engagements and expand market presence
• Attend industry events, trade shows and conferences to network and be updated on the industry's latest trends and innovation

Job Requirements
• Minimum 10 - 12 years of experience in sales within the MICE industry, preferably with regional experience and with at least 6 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Experience in developing creative
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Results-driven with a proactive approach
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Effective leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
