Network Presales Technical Consultant

The core responsibility of this position is during the pre-sales, tenders, and bids stage, requiring extensive knowledge of Cisco/Aruba technology. You'll conceptualize business solutions for customers and actively engage in the pre-sales lifecycle. This includes developing accurate and optimized bill of materials, generating proposals, and supporting other sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive Technical Consulting support to the Solution Sales team for Cisco/Aruba networking business.
- Gather detailed networking requirements to design suitable, highly available, secure, and scalable solutions for clients.
- Prepare and present technical solutions for customers, overseeing technology selection, bill of materials development, proposal writing, and conducting proof-of-concept to showcase technical feasibility.
- Present alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple solutions exist.
- Highlight the positive impact of solutions and how they can help achieve customer business goals.
- Manage customer relationships by communicating architecture standards and frameworks, addressing questions, and resolving concerns and issues.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or IT-related field with a minimum of 10 years of IT Presales or Solutioning experience in Data Centre and Campus Networking solutions within the Telecommunications or IT Industry.
- Hold at least one CCIE, preferably in R&S/Data Centre/Security.
- Additional technical qualifications include hands-on experience with several of the following products or technologies: F5/Palo Alto/CheckPoint/Arista/etc.
- Experience in leading large group meetings/information gathering sessions with senior-level executives.
- Familiarity with market trends for systems and SI solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Visio.
