- Responsible for implementing Group Operational RiskManagement Policy & processes within the unit with the aim ofensuring a sound risk and control environment.
- Ensure Unit BCP obligations/requirements are in placecomplying with GBCM requirements.
- Manage/coordinate/support CRESA'sRisk, Compliance, Audit & BCP deliverables &reports.
- Assume role of unit UORM, BCP Manager& WSH co-ordinator to co-ordinate unit's compliance to RMG,GBCM & Group WSH requirements.
- EnsuresUnit BCP Plan is in place for disaster recovery.
- Promote risk & control awareness, including ensuringrelevant training is conducted for staff in the unit, coveringoperational risk, reputational risk, risk culture & conduct andensure training plans are established and compliedwith.
In this role,you will be instrumental in shaping and strengthening our riskgovernance framework. You'll work closely with the teamto:
- Lead Unit'sOperational Risk Management: You'll be at theforefront of our operational risk management efforts, driving theimplementation of robust policies, procedures, and best practicesacross the unit. This involves facilitating operational riskreviews, developing and implementing unit-specific guidelines, andensuring timely approvals for any deviations. You'll proactivelyidentify, analyse, and report on operational risk events, trends,and root causes for strategic decision-making to improve riskcontrol measures.
- Champion aCulture of Risk Awareness: You'll play a key role infostering a strong risk-aware culture by conducting staff training,sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices. You'll alsooversee the establishment and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators(KRIs), to ensure risks are effectively managed andmitigated.
- Streamline Audit andRegulatory Processes: You will coordinate audits andregulatory inspections, ensuring seamless collaboration and timelyresponses. You'll also be responsible for facilitating Risk andControl Self-Assessments (RCSAs), ensuring that all residual risksare appropriately documented and approved.
- Collaborate and CommunicateEffectively: This position demands strongcollaboration skills, working closely with various stakeholdersincluding CRESA staff, Group Ops ORM, FCSS, RMG, to manage riskincidents, issues, and events. This includes actively reviewingprocesses and identifying potential risks across our operations,ensuring sufficient risk control measures are in place.
- Provide Timely Reporting andSupport: You will meticulously track and report onkey risk metrics, ensuring timely submission of critical reportssuch as IPT, Litigation, KRI reports. You will also support themanagement of our CRESA Operations Handbook and contracttemplates.
As a keymember of our unit business continuity team, you'll play a vitalrole in developing and maintaining the department's BusinessContinuity Plan (BCP), ensuring its effectiveness and readiness tohandle various scenarios. Your responsibilities willinclude:
- Strategic BCPDevelopment & Implementation: Collaborateclosely with the Group Business Continuity Management (GBCM) teamand various department sections to develop, implement, and maintaina comprehensive and effective CRESA business continuity plan. Thisincludes ensuring alignment with corporate policies and standardsand promoting a culture of business continuitypreparedness.
- Emergency Response& Disaster Recovery: You will be instrumental inestablishing and maintaining a robust emergency response team.You'll play a critical role in ensuring our BCP effectivelysupports our unit disaster recovery efforts and proactivelyidentify potential vulnerabilities to mitigate risks.
- Continuous Improvement &Testing: You'll lead the design and execution ofregular BCP testing exercises, including Unit tabletop exercises,full simulations, staff recall exercise, etc. These exercises willbe designed to identify areas for improvement and continuouslyenhance the plan's effectiveness and ensure the team'sreadiness.
- Plan Maintenance& Updates: This role includes the crucialresponsibility of ensuring the annual update and review ofdepartmental BCP plans, ensuring their relevance and accuracy. Youwill oversee the execution and reporting of annualBCP/recall/tabletop exercises,etc.
- 8 - 10 years with at least 5 years' experience focus inreal estate matters and administrative support including lease,facilities management or project management. Ability to navigaterisks management across DBS major markets including InternationalCentres.
- Good understanding of and experiencein ensuring compliance with local, regional, real estate,construction practice/regulation is critical.
- Familiarity with real estate transactions, including duediligence processes, contract negotiations, and closing procedures,risk assessment and compliance.
- Experience inmanaging risks related to fit-out/construction, propertymaintenance, insurance, and security is essential.
- Experience in developing business continuity plan duringdisruptions like natural disasters, cybersecurity incidents,pandemic,terrorism.
